The South American Football Championship (Copa América) is a South American football tournament first held in 1916, usually organized every two years. The tournament features 10 South American countries and two invited teams from other confederations. The participating South American teams are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The most successful teams in the tournament's history are Argentina and Uruguay, each with 15 titles, followed by Brazil with 9 titles. The all-time top scorers of Copa America are Argentine Norberto Mendez and Brazilian Zizinho, each with 17 goals.
