On Friday in Bremen, the first match of the twelfth Bundesliga tour took place, where a quite unexpected result was recorded - the championship leaders "Werder" had to admit defeat to "Borussia" with a score of 1-3. The goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller from Dortmund contributed the most to the guests' victory, repelling several dangerous opponent attacks.
After A.Frei's goal in the 7th minute, "Borussia" took the lead, but M.Klose equalized the score before halftime with individual efforts.
In the second part of the match, after playing eight minutes, "Borussia" once again took the lead, and Tinga scored a goal with a header after Nuri Sahin's corner kick was lifted. Despite missing the second goal, "Werder" did not give up and had many chances, but could not defeat the successful guests' goalkeeper. At the end of the match, the Dortmund team further increased their lead when M.A.Kruska successfully converted a penalty kick awarded for Naldo's foul.
After the second failure at home, "Werder" can lose the first position in this round if "Stuttgart" wins against "Hannover" away.
