On Monday late evening, the last match of the 12th round of the English Premier League took place.
Brighton hosted Stoke City in front of their fans. In a tough match, the teams ended up sharing a point - the game finished in a 2-2 draw.
In the 28th minute, Max Choupo-Moting put the visitors Stoke ahead. The hosts immediately tried to equalize after the conceded goal and in the 44th minute, they leveled the score, but in the first minute of added time, Kurt Zouma's header gave the advantage back to the "Potters".
In the second half, Brighton was determined not to accept defeat - in the 60th minute, Jose Izquierdo's shot once again leveled the score. Neither team managed to score more goals in the remaining time - the match ended in a draw.
Stoke is currently in 15th place with 13 points, while Brighton can be satisfied with their first ten points for now - they are in 9th place.
