Kipras Olšauskas, a promising 18-year-old player, has joined the blue and white team. A member of the Lithuanian youth national teams, he has been accumulating experience in youth teams in Germany and Spain for the past four years, and before this season he signed his first official contract with Kaunas district club FC "Hegelmann."

"I hope to achieve the best results in the top country league this season, with many victories and good team and individual performances. I believe that 'Hegelmann' is a great place for me to start playing men's football, improve, and excel. This will be my first team where I will sign a professional contract, and I am very happy about it," said K. Olšauskas.

The abilities of the player who usually plays in the midfield position are already well known to the Kaunas district club. He has been training with the blue and white team for some time and has played in friendly matches.

Kipras started his football journey in the National Football Academy's 2004-2005 birth year teams, and later trained and played at the Kaunas Football School. In the autumn of 2019, the promising 14-year-old traveled to Germany to improve at the academy of the well-known club FC "Nuremberg."

After a year and a half in Germany, the footballer's path led to Spain. K. Olšauskas began training with the talents of the FC "Girona" club, and later became one of the graduates of the UE "Cornella" academy, one of the strongest academies in the Barcelona region. All teams of these academies play in the strongest country leagues for youth age groups.

Two years ago, the Kaunas representative played for UE "Olot," and last year for the U-19 teams of "Jabac Terrassa" in Spain.

"The journey in Germany and Spain was certainly not easy, but everything is possible if you have the will, motivation, and support of loved ones. The hardest part was being without language, friends I grew up with, and leisure time with them. Strict schedule, learning languages, and huge competition - that was the everyday reality. I am psychologically ready to start a career in men's football," said the defender who has become a member of the blue and white team.

K. Olšauskas has been constantly called up to the Lithuanian youth national teams and has played in the U-17 and U-19 age groups.
