Qualifying matches for the 2016 European Football Championship ended on Tuesday with battles in groups A, B, and H, after which a significant sensation was achieved - the Netherlands team, the third-place winner of last year's World Cup, will not be at next year's championship in France. The Dutch team, who had a rough start to the qualifiers, somehow managed to reach the possibility of at least being the third among the six teams eligible to fight for a spot in the knockout stage, but they were knocked out by the Czech Republic. The Czechs defeated them 3:2 (2:0) and after a break of over 30 years, the Netherlands will not be at the European Championship. The last time they missed the "Euro" was in 1984. Before the final round of Group A, the Netherlands and Turkey fought for third place: although the Turks had 15 points, and the Dutch had 13, in case of a victory and defeat of the opponents, the Netherlands miraculously would have passed through the needle's eye. But some of the European football leaders had already made their way earlier, such as the Czech Republic, who had already secured a ticket to the French tournament, conceding to the team fighting for the first position in front of their fans. FINAL TABLES OF THE 2016 EURO QUALIFIERS Croatia, Italy, and Norway had a chance to fight for the first-three spots in Group H. Closer to the tickets were the Italians and Norwegians, each with 21 and 19 points respectively, but the Croats with their 17 points were on their heels. All results: Belgium 3 - 1 Israel Bulgaria 2 - 0 Azerbaijan Cyprus 2 - 3 Bosnia and Herzegovina Italy 2 - 1 Norway Latvia 0 - 1 Kazakhstan Malta 0 - 1 Croatia Netherlands 2 - 3 Czech Republic Turkey 1 - 0 Iceland Wales 2 - 0 Andorra
