2023 TOPsport Lithuanian Football Awards: Best Lithuanian Young Female Footballer

On Tuesday, the first stage of the 2023 TOPsport Lithuanian Football Awards began.

At this time, extended lists have been selected in each nomination, from which three nominees will advance to the second stage of voting. LFF.lt plans to introduce each nomination and its nominees to readers.

Please note that in all nominations, the first stage of voting takes place until January 16th, 23:59, to submit your votes once a day in each nomination you can click here.

We present to you another nomination - the best young Lithuanian female footballer.

In this nomination, the potential winners are U19 footballers, born in 2004 or later.

Last year, Karolina Jasaitytė won this nomination, and she is participating in the voting again this year.

It is worth noting that candidates of this age group will have the opportunity to participate in the European U19 girls' championship in Lithuania next July, which will take place in Kaunas, Jonava, and Marijampolė.

This year's voting also includes several girls who have already made their debut with the national women's team - like the aforementioned K. Jasaitytė, Agnieška Kazarina, or Žemyna Lekavičiūtė.

A large number of the nominees compete in the women's A league, as well as represented youth national teams, participated in the Baltic Cup tournament, and European Championship qualifiers this year.
