29th round: "Aberdeen" solidified in third place © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday in Scotland, four matches of the 29th round were played, in which the leader Glazgo "Celtic", the mid-table teams "Kilmarnock" and "Inverness", and third-placed "Aberdeen" celebrated victories.

With a 22-point lead in the championship, Glazgo "Celtic" defeated the tournament's underdog, "Dunfermline", 2-1 at home. The hosts took the lead early in the match with a goal from Kenny Miller. He later missed two close-range opportunities to increase the lead, until Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink doubled the score in the second half after coming on as a substitute.

As the match neared its end, Adam Hammill softened the scoreline and inspired the visitors to cause problems for the championship leaders in the final minutes of the match.

Meanwhile, "Aberdeen" surprisingly celebrated a 2-1 victory against "Falkirk", as the home team dominated the majority of the match.

"Kilmarnock" and "Inverness CT" clubs, positioned in the middle of the table, also celebrated victories. The former convincingly defeated the team occupying the penultimate place, "St Mirren", 2-0 away from home, while "Inverness" narrowly defeated "Dundee United" at home.

In the second-placed Glazgo "Rangers" will face the local team "Hibernian" in Edinburgh on Sunday, while the other Edinburgh team, "Hearts", led by the interim coach, will play away against "Motherwell" who currently sit in ninth place on Monday. The second half of these matches will be broadcast live on "Tango TV".
