Firmly leading the championship and defending their title, "Lyon" faced the mid-table team "Nancy" away and easily defeated them with a score of 0-3. The Czech player Milan Baroš scored the first goal for the visitors in the 36th minute. Kim Kallstrom doubled the lead 15 minutes before the end of the match, and the Brazilian Fred sealed the final result with a goal towards the end of the game.
Meanwhile, "Lille", who are fighting for the second place in the championship, hosted "Le Mans", currently in 9th place, at home and suffered a 0-2 defeat in front of their own fans.
