On Monday evening, in the first round match of "Serie A", "Napoli" demonstrated excellent attacking football and defeated Verona's "Hellas" with a score of 5:2 away. In the 37th minute, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia scored, and in the 45+3 minute, Victor Osimhen put his team ahead. The hosts managed to equalize the score at the beginning of the second half. Thomas Henry scored with a header in the 48th minute. The score remained level for only 7 minutes in the match, as "Napoli" once again took the lead in the 55th minute. After a great counterattack, Piotr Zielinski scored a goal, and just 10 minutes later Stanislav Lobotka doubled his team's lead. The visitors' goalkeeper Matteo Politano settled all doubts in this match. The Italian scored his team's fifth and final goal in the 79th minute. In the next round, "Napoli" will face "Monza" at home. Meanwhile, Verona's footballers will have an away match against "Bologna".
