The "Shamrock Rovers" fielded 16-year-old Irishman Michael Noonan in their starting lineup, who became the youngest debutant in the history of European leagues. He surpassed Ansu Fati.

Moreover, at 16 years and 187 days old, the Irishman also became the youngest goal scorer. His goal helped secure a 1-0 victory against the players of "Molde" away from home.
