Forward of the Portuguese football club "Boavista" 20-year-old Edu Ferreira lost the battle with cancer and ascended to Paradise during Christmas, reported lrytas.lt. At the beginning of December, the "Boavista" team, in order to support the football player fighting sarcoma of the right leg bone, extended a contract with him for another season. "Edu has left us, but he will never leave us. Another star has lit up in the sky today. Rest in peace, Edu," - announced in the team's statement. E. Ferreira found out about the disease in November of last year - that's when he was diagnosed with cancer.
