Although "West Ham United" have already played a match in their new Olympic stadium, today's match against Turin's "Juventus" was dedicated to opening a new fortress.
Slaven Bilic's "Hammers" had to acknowledge the advantage of the Italian champions after a productive battle. "Juventus" defeated the "West Ham" footballers in front of their own fans with a score of 3-2.
By the 20th minute, the visitors from Turin were leading 2-0. Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic scored within two minutes. However, Andy Carroll's goal in the 34th minute revived the intrigue in this match.
The second half started much more successfully for the hosts - the same A. Carroll scored another goal and equalized the score. The "Hammers" failed to keep the draw until the end of the match, and in the 85th minute, Simone Zaza scored the winning goal for "Juventus".
