Having had more than one good contract in his career, Andy Carroll is currently earning slightly less at "Reading" club than he used to. The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reported that A. Carroll's salary at the Championship club is just 1 thousand pounds sterling per week. This amounts to 4 thousand per month and 8 thousand over the contract period, as the striker has signed a short-term 2-month contract with the possibility of extension. However, A. Carroll's time with the Reading team has started successfully. Over the weekend, he and the team won 3:2 away against Swansea City. Carroll managed to score a goal, and former Leicester City and Chelsea player Danny Drinkwater also found the net.
