The global coronavirus pandemic did not affect UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin at all, lrytas.lt wrote. He even increased his salary by 25 percent last year and earned 2.19 million euros before taxes. This is 450 thousand euros more than in 2019. The appetite of UEFA General Secretary Theodore Theodoridis is not much smaller - he received a salary of 1.23 million euros before taxes last year, which is 164 thousand euros more than in 2019. While UEFA officials were increasing their salaries, it was calculated that during the pandemic last year, the UEFA budget shrank from 3.86 billion to 3.04 billion euros.
