UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin reassures football fans that the changes that will occur in European football after 2024 will not disrupt the national competitions of countries.
Earlier, it was announced that the organization plans to hold another tournament on the Old Continent, which would take place after the Champions League and Europa League.
After the meeting of the federation leaders in Budapest, the Slovenian said:
"I am happy that the provision not to play UEFA tournaments during the weekend was again approved, excluding the Champions League final. We will never make decisions that would destroy European football."
However, UEFA leaders are still not reassured by the plans of the big clubs, which do not rule out the idea of organizing the Super League in the future, where, according to the press, five "Premier" league teams - "Man Utd", "Man City", "Chelsea", "Arsenal" and "Liverpool" would have a place.
