London's "Chelsea" club can rejoice - not only did they manage to sign a contract with the excellent specialist Antonio Conte, but they also managed to have the charges in the case of fixed matches dropped.
In April, the prosecutor in Cremona proposed that the coach be sentenced to six months of house arrest and fined 8,000 euros, but today the former Turin "Juventus" defender was acquitted.
Conte was accused of not informing when he was managing the "Siena" club about the players' plans to fix the final match against "AlbinoLeffe."
The strategist himself denied his guilt the whole time.
It is worth noting that Conte in 2012, due to similar charges, was unable to assist his team during matches for four months.
