A. Conte after failure in Rome: we simply did not want to win

Antonio Conte was angry after the unsuccessful UEFA Champions League match against "Roma".

In London, "Chelsea" had to face a painful defeat in Rome - the hosts beat them 3-0. The "Blues" were very passive both in defense and in attack.

"I thought in the first half we were just unlucky. We had a chance to score after 30 seconds of play, but then during the next attacks, we were punished ourselves," said A. Conte.

"We had our chances in the first half, but "Roma" played defensively. The second half was very bad - "Roma" showed more desire to win, they were hungrier and more willing to fight. They deserved the victory.

I couldn't care less that "Qarabag" took points from "Atletico". I only care about how we can improve our game and avoid the second halves like the ones we saw in Rome," added A. Conte.
