Conte took over coaching the club after leaving the Italian national team, where he had been at the helm for two years. "Chelsea," with the help of A. Conte, won the "Premier League" trophy after a year-long hiatus. The Blues also became the first team in the "Premier League" to achieve 30 victories in a season.
