A. Conte: I couldn't stop Hazard from going to "Barcelona"

London's "Chelsea" coach Antonio Conte admitted that the future of the team's star Eden Hazard will definitely not depend on him.

After "Barcelona" sold Neymar to "Paris Saint-Germain" for a record amount of money, all powerful teams were forced to be stunned, as now the Catalans are looking for a replacement for the Brazilian.

One of the candidates to become that replacement is precisely a member of the Belgian national team.

"Eden Hazard is truly a top-level player, but, I repeat, I am a coach and can only share my opinion. The decisive decision is always made by the club," - Conte told Metro.

"I hope that Eden will represent Chelsea. Now is not the right time to lose football players."

The "aristocrats" have already added Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Alvaro Morata during this offseason. However, they failed to attract Juventus' full-back Alex Sandro.
