From "Manchester United" to Milan "Inter" this summer, Romelu Lukaku debuted with a goal in the "Serie A" match against "Lecce" on Monday.
After the match, Milan's coach Antonio Conte praised the Belgian's performance and insisted that he still has room for improvement.
"Let's not forget that Lukaku is only 26 years old and he still has potential to work with. Despite joining the team relatively late, Lukaku has put in a lot of effort to help the team from the beginning of the matches."
"In these matches, Lukaku showed what kind of player he is and why the club wanted him. I am very happy. I knew him as a player, but I didn't know what kind of person he was. I can say that he pleasantly surprised me."
"He easily integrated into the team and quickly found common ground with his teammates. Everyone immediately loved him."
"I will repeat, Lukaku is only 26 years old, so he can still improve his game. He needs to further utilize his abilities because, in my opinion, he hasn't fully revealed some of them in his football career."
"Lukaku showed why we wanted him so badly," A. Conte said after the victory.
