Milan's "Inter" on Sunday ended a series of three winless matches in the "Serie A" championship by defeating "Udinese" away.
In these matches, for the first time, Christian Eriksen, who arrived from London's "Tottenham" not long ago, played in the starting lineup for "Inter".
However, the Dane was substituted even before the second half, but Milan's coach Antonio Conte was pleased with the newcomer's performance.
"It should not be forgotten that Eriksen joined the team just five days ago and we had to throw him into the fight, as we are missing some key players in this position. Nevertheless, he performed really well.
It is obvious that he needs time to adapt to Serie A football, but I am pleased with his first appearance in the starting lineup.
Eriksen still has things to learn that we ask from a central midfielder, but I am satisfied with his first days in our club," Conte told "Sky Sports" in a conversation.
