A. de Laurentiis on V. Osimhen's Future and Desire to Acquire E. Haaland in the Past

For some time now, there have been more and more rumors circulating in the football field that the star of Napoli, Victor Osimhen, will leave the team after the season.

The president of the "Blues" Aurelio de Laurentiis does not hold out much hope that the Nigerian will stay in the team for a long time:

"V. Osimhen's contract includes a buyout clause, which is very high.

"Most players stay in our team for many years...other footballers are interested in clubs like PSG, "Arsenal," "Chelsea," or "Man City."

"It is difficult to keep players in the Napoli club, especially when they are desired by these very wealthy European clubs."

Victor Osimhen's release clause is 120-130 million euros.

Furthermore, A. de Laurentiis revealed that he really wanted to see Erling Haaland in his ranks when the Norwegian shone in the "Salzburg" club:

"I really wanted to sign E. Haaland for 50 million euros from "Salzburg."

"We also prepared an official offer, but his agent Mino Raiola told me: please, do not try to buy this player, because I have already planned his next career move."
