The legend of "Juventus", Alessandro Del Piero, says ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League final that Barcelona star Lionel Messi is the number one footballer.
The forward scored 58 goals in all competitions this season.
"Messi is number one. He is talented, has good instincts, shows passion and is magical," Del Piero told the official Barcelona website.
"Messi is part of football heritage. We are very lucky that he lives in this era and we can enjoy watching his game."
The Italian football legend also praised and compared veterans like Andrea Pirlo and Xavi, as well as Barcelona and Juventus coaches Luis Enrique and Massimiliano Allegri.
