Maskvos „Lokomotiv“ football club 18-year-old goalkeeper Aleksejus Lomakinas was found dead in one of the districts of the Russian capital, lrytas.lt reports.

An incredible chain of events with the athlete led to the police stating that the young man froze, although the version of murder is also being considered.

As reported by „Moskovskyj komsomolec“, the footballer was found frozen in the ice in the Bratejevo district of Moscow.

The player's mother contacted the police on November 30th, stating that he had gone to the „Lokomotiv“ team base to undergo a medical examination, was supposed to stay there overnight, but since that day she could not contact her son.

A.Lomakinas mobile phone was found only on December 2nd in a taxi. The driver claimed that the boy left it with a backpack, going to town with his friend Ivan. The latter, in a police interrogation, said that he drank alcohol with the deceased, but was so drunk that he does not remember what they drank, what they took, what they did, and where they were with Aleksejus.

Ivan insists that he does not know why his brain shut off and cannot imagine the events of the entire evening of November 30th. He himself only sobered up on December 2nd.
