Former "Manchester United" coach Sir Alex Ferguson shared his predictions about who will be competing for the "Premier League" title this season.
Without a doubt, his top five favorites currently at the top of the league table are "Manchester City," London's "Arsenal," "Liverpool," and London's "Tottenham."
Interestingly, the strategist also mentioned "Man United" instead of "Chelsea," who are currently in fourth place.
"Predicting is more difficult than in previous years," Ferguson told Kicker.
"I think there are five potential candidates: "Manchester City" as favorites, "Tottenham" and "Liverpool," but if we see consistency soon, "Manchester United" also belongs here.
"Even being behind by six or eight points, it is always possible to catch up with one or two teams. Guardiola and Mourinho's presence provides intriguing competition, and we should not forget about "Arsenal."
"Man City," "Arsenal," and "Liverpool" have each collected 20 points after nine rounds. "Chelsea" and "Tottenham" have 19 points each.
