The 76-year-old former coach ended up in the hospital on May 5th when he had to undergo emergency surgery for a brain haemorrhage. Due to his delicate health, doctors had to fight hard, but the worst is now in the past - Ferguson appeared in front of the cameras and announced joyful news. "First of all, I would like to thank the doctors and all the staff without whose help I probably wouldn't be sitting here today. So, thank you very much on behalf of me and my whole family. I was touched by all the messages I received from all over the world. Wishing me a speedy recovery and staying strong was very important to me, so I want to thank you for all the support I received. Now all that's left is to wait for the new season so I can return and watch my team. I want to wish Jose and all the players the best of luck," - Ferguson spoke in his video recording.
