Bilbao "Athletic" coach Marcelo Bielsa unexpectedly resigns from his position.
The Argentine made the decision after a strange conflict, during which he clashed with workers from the company that was renovating the club's training ground. They allegedly did not fulfill their obligations and did not finish the work before the start of the season for the footballers.
Shortly after, "Athletic" released a statement condemning such behavior from the strategist, and the offended Bielsa handed in his resignation.
In June, Bielsa, whose team reached the finals of the UEFA Europa League and the Spanish King's Cup last season, extended his contract for another two years.
