A. Galliani: if C. Ancelotti had stayed in Madrid, C. Bacca would now be playing for "Real"

"Milan" president Adriano Galliani revealed that now "Rossoneri" defending striker Carlos Bacca was one step away from transferring to Madrid's "Real".

Last summer, C. Bacca left "Sevilla" for a sum of 30 million euros and moved to Italy. A. Galliani says that Carlo Ancelotti wanted to see the Colombian in Madrid, but it was not meant to be due to the coach's departure.

"Bacca has a unique eye for scoring goals", praised the 29-year-old striker. "I have been watching him for the past two years. I really liked him, but I also liked his former coach Unai Emery, who, in my opinion, is one of the best coaches in the world".

"Emery said that Bacca wouldn't come to Milan, but we managed to attract a fantastic player. Even Ancelotti talked about him, and if the coach had stayed in Madrid, Carlos would probably be playing there now", added one of the "Milan" executives.

Starting this season, C. Bacca has already scored 15 goals in 29 games for "Milan".
