One of the brightest French football stars Antoine Griezmann asserts that he has not yet reached the level of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old forward became the top scorer of the European Championship last summer and was also among the three most powerful footballers competing in Europe. This season, the Frenchman at Madrid's "Atletico" club is also performing successfully - scoring six goals in eight games played.
"I think I still have a lot to improve to reach their level," Griezmann said about Messi and Ronaldo. "We should start with winning titles. They have won a lot and keep winning."
"But as I said before, I want to stay at the same table (remain in the "Atletico" team). I think I have everything I need here, so I want to stay for as long as possible," added the forward.
Griezmann is among the candidates to win the "Golden Ball", but the main favorite is still considered to be Ronaldo.
