A. Griezmann saved "Barça" from shame in the King's Cup, "Real" also had to make an effort

On Wednesday, the Spanish King's Cup was barely without sensations.

In the sixteenth-finals, "Barcelona" faced off against the team based in Ibiza - "UD Ibiza-Eivissa". Ibiza's team, playing in the third Spanish league, was close to causing an upset, but Antoine Griezmann saved "Barcelona's" skin.

In the 9th minute, "Ibiza" unexpectedly took the lead and held onto it until the 72nd minute. "Barcelona" only had their first shot towards goal in the 62nd minute.

In the middle of the second half, Antoine Griezmann equalized. A particularly painful blow to the home team was delivered in added time - with just a few minutes left until extra time, the same A. Griezmann sprinted with the ball and scored the winning goal.

The exhausted Ibiza team was forced to accept a bitter defeat, while "Barcelona", despite playing poorly, secured a spot in the next round.

In other matches, Madrid's "Real" team also won a tough victory. Playing at a school-sized stadium, the "Whites" defeated the "Unionistas" footballers 3:1, who compete in the third division.

Gareth Bale put the visitors ahead, but "Unionistas" unexpectedly equalized at the beginning of the second half. However, the situation was resolved by Brahim Diaz - this time his shot led to an own goal, and at the end of the match he made an excellent run to seal the deal.

Also advancing to the next round were "Valencia", "Tenerife", "Real Sociedad", "Villarreal", and Bilbao "Athletic".
