On Sunday, two more matches of the 19th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.
The first match took place in the capital, where local Madrid's "Atletico" hosted Valencia's "Levante", who had defeated "Barca" horns last week. The only goal of the match determined the victory of the hosts.
"Atletico" more or less dominated throughout the match, although the visitors from Valencia also had their chances.
The winning goal was scored in the 57th minute, when Antoine Griezmann converted a penalty from 11 meters. For the Frenchman, this was already his sixth goal in the last five matches.
"Atletico" temporarily reduced the gap to the leaders to two points.
In other matches, "Sevilla" team suffered a painful defeat, losing to Bilbao's "Athletic" who climbed to 16th place. Inaki Williams scored two goals to lead the Basques to victory.
"Sevilla" remains in third place with 33 points, although Madrid's "Real" could catch up with them.
