„Barcelona“ player Alen Halilovic has confirmed that he could move to the "Valencia" club, but admitted that even if he leaves, he would like to return to his current team.
The Croatian, who joined "Barca" in the summer of 2014, spent this season on loan at "Sporting Gijon", where he played 37 matches. The 19-year-old returned to "Barcelona" after the season, but he does not rule out the possibility of being loaned out again by the Catalans, or being sold with the option of later returning.
"We have not reached an agreement with 'Valencia' yet, but negotiations are ongoing. We are waiting to see what 'Barcelona' will say. I would like to stay at 'Barcelona' and fight for my place in the squad, but if they offer me to find another club, I will not argue with that. Playing for this team remains my priority in the future, so if I were to be sold, I would like them to have the option to buy me back for a certain amount. I am pleased that my good performances this season have attracted the interest of other teams," - Halilovic told Tportal.
If "Barcelona" decides to sell Halilovic and includes an option to buy him back for a certain amount in his sales contract, he would be the fourth young player in recent years to be sold under such conditions by the Catalan team. In the summer of 2015, Adama Traore, Gerard Deulofeu, and Denis Suarez left the team in a similar way, with "Barca" planning to bring Suarez back to the club next season.
