A. Kingas: It's nice to return with the champions title to where you were thrown out.

Former Chelsea youth academy member Andy King greets the last round with even greater pride than his teammates - returning to the Stamford Bridge stadium as a player who has won the Premier League title with Leicester City.

The Welsh national team member belonged to the Chelsea academy, but when the club was taken over by Roman Abramovich, he was released from the team at just 16 years old. Now, King admits that returning to Stamford Bridge this weekend after winning the champions title will be an incredibly pleasant feeling for him.

"Receiving a medal, receiving trophies - last Saturday was the best day of my life. But this weekend will also be special," the player told Daily Mail.

The defender also recalled the situation in which he was kicked out of the Chelsea team.

"It was the beginning of the Abramovich era and they said it wasn't enough to be the best player in London or even England. They said now you have to be the best in Europe and they were looking for another player in my position. I accepted it because you could see the changes - they kept only three or four players. I have good memories from the Chelsea team, but it's nice to return as a Premier League champion to the club that kicked you out when you were just 16," King said.

King moved to the Leicester City youth team in 2004 - immediately after becoming surplus in the Chelsea team. The 27-year-old defender played 24 games in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
