In the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, the club "Celje" decisively defeated Istanbul's "Basaksehir" at home with a score of 5:1.

In the 5th minute, the Slovenian team was led forward by Tamaras Svetlinas.

In the 30th minute, Ivan Brničius doubled the score. He received an assist from Armandas Kučys.

In the 34th minute, Svitas Seslaras turned the score into a rout.

In the 51st minute, A. Kučys added another goal.

In the 75th minute, Dimitrios Pelkas scored the only goal for the visitors.

Just a couple of minutes later, Armandas Kučys marked his name on the score sheet with a brace.

After the victory, "Celje" climbed to 12th place with 3 points, while Istanbul's "Basaksehir" suffered their second defeat.
