London's "Arsenal" confirmed that the club's forward Alexandre Lacazette has suffered an injury. He will not be able to play for the next six weeks.
Today, the Frenchman underwent surgery, after which he will have to dedicate at least a month to rehabilitation.
"Sniper Alex Lacazette underwent arthroscopy on his left knee in London on Tuesday morning," reads the official statement.
"The minor procedure was successful and he now faces a period of rehabilitation. It is expected that he will return to the team after four to six weeks."
The Frenchman, who arrived from "Lyon" this summer, initially delighted with good performance and had scored eight goals until the month of December. However, the form of the 26-year-old footballer later declined, and his confidence also decreased with the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
