During the last few seasons, injury-prone "Liverpool" attacking midfielder Adam Lallana will become a free agent next summer.
Although the 31-year-old Englishman played only four minutes in the "Premier" League this season, A. Lallana hopes to reach an agreement with the "Liverpool" club regarding the extension of his contract.
"I don't feel worried about my future. Of course, you always think a little bit ahead. I really like it at Liverpool, but I don't think too much about what awaits me in the future.
At the moment, my main focus is on my physical readiness and hard work in training. Everything else will sort itself out.
I feel really happy and properly prepared. If I want to be part of the "Liverpool" team, which is the best team in Europe, then I have to continue improving. In recent seasons, it was quite hard for me to do that because I just couldn't show it.
I can't be the same player anymore. I must be better than I was, as the team has taken a step forward," A. Lallana said in an interview with "The Times."
