A League: 'Sūduva' and 'Šiauliai' Split Points

In the 24th round of the "TOPsport A League," teams continue to play to draws. In Marijampolė, the local "Sūduva" went without goals against FA "Šiauliai" – 0:0.

The rain and strong wind had a significant impact on the flow of the first half and the game. Indeed, in the 8th minute, Steve Lawson took two long shots in quick succession – one was saved by Gustas Baliutavičius, and in another episode, the ball hit the post. The guests also managed to hit the target once, but Donatas Kazlauskas's attempt was easily dealt with by Giedrius Zenkevičius.

In the 30th minute, after a poorly executed corner kick by G. Baliutavičius, Ernestas Burdzilauskas headed the ball, but Sigitas Olberkis nearly cleared it off the goal line.
