A. Lennon admitted to hospital for mental health issues.

Unexpected news from English football - Liverpool's "Everton" winger Aaron Lennon is facing serious mental health issues and has been hospitalized.

It is reported that the former English national team footballer was taken by police officers on Sunday following a received report and handed over to special services.

A police representative explained the situation further: "On Sunday at 16:35 local time, a report was received regarding a person's unstable mental condition. The 30-year-old was taken in by officers according to the law and transported to the hospital."

"Everton" confirmed this information on their official website: "Aaron Lennon is currently receiving assistance and being treated for a stress-related illness."

A. Lennon has not been included in "Everton" match squad since February 11th, and "Toffees" manager Ronald Koeman stated earlier in April that the player is not physically ready to be with the team.
