Anthony Martial is planning to leave "Manchester United" in January to get more playing time. The forward, acquired in 2015 for £36 million with bonuses that could raise the Frenchman's price to £55 million, has only played in three "Premier League" or "Champions League" matches so far this season. The player's agent clearly expressed his represented player's position: "Anthony wants to leave the club in January," said Philippe Lambolley to "Sky Sports News." "He just needs to play. He doesn't want to stay in January and I will soon talk to the club about it." Martial's contract is valid until June 2024 with an option to extend it for another year. He has not appeared on the pitch under interim manager Ralf Rangnick's leadership. Rangnick, although not specifically talking about Martial, said on Friday that he will talk to players unhappy with playing time and potentially look to loan them out in January. Whether Martial would agree to this proposal is unclear.
