Anthony Martial revealed that before moving to Manchester United, he was afraid of the intensity of the Premier League football.
The 20-year-old forward left the Monaco club for over 50 million euros last summer.
"Initially I was scared because I had heard a lot about the intensity of English football," Martial told RTL.
"However, during the matches, I realized that I could adapt, and I was very happy about it because I used to struggle to finish games before. When I was seventeen, I was told that I needed to improve my endurance."
The striker added that he really enjoys playing in England. He is exactly what the Frenchman always wanted.
Martial played 43 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists.
