Arkadiusz Milik, who joined Napoli in 2016, does not hide the fact that he is currently going through a difficult period in his career.
On Sunday, the 25-year-old sniper scored one of the winning goals in the match against Macedonia, after which the Polish national team he represents secured a place in the European Championship next year.
This was Milik's first goal this season. The Pole is currently barely playing for Napoli - only three matches have been played, although at the beginning of the season the footballer had to miss due to injury.
"I would like to play more than 15 minutes per game in the club," the footballer said.
Talking about national team matters, Milik added: "This goal was very important to me. Lewandowski fantastically took the ball and created an opportunity to score a goal that secured our spot in the European Championship.
Whether I will myself take part in such a high-profile tournament, we have to wait and see. I would like to go there having regular playing time. It all depends on me and my feet.
I have no doubts about myself, but it depends on the matches and the number of minutes. If there are no minutes, then my situation will be difficult."
