After a break due to injury, Bayern's full-back Alphonse Davies was substituted.

In the 74th minute, the young Youssoufa Moukoko managed to score and bring intrigue back into the match. The assist was made by later match hero Anthony Modeste.
Before extra time, Kingsley Coman received his second yellow card.
