"Juventus" forward Alvaro Morata was happy after scoring a brace in yesterday's "Coppa Italia" match and hopes that this performance will help break his long goal drought.
The former "Real" Madrid player is not currently showing optimal athletic form, and yesterday he scored even after a break of over twenty matches.
The Spaniard admitted that this season has been tough for him, and on top of everything, he has personal troubles unrelated to football.
"It wasn't easy for me. I went through a complicated period, but I hope it's already over," Morata told the official "Juve" website.
"I also had some problems off the field, but I try to make sure they don't interfere with my football," he added.
"Scoring against Inter was very important and in the end I succeeded. It was a very crucial evening."
"I work every day to reach my best form. Currently, I am a different player than before and I hope that won't change."
This season, Morata has scored five goals in 28 matches in all competitions."
