"Real" Madrid sniper, Alvaro Morata, believes that one day he will play in the ranks of a team led by Antonio Conte.
Now, the Italian coaching at London's Chelsea, tried to attract the 24-year-old footballer to England before this season, but the club that brought him back from Turin Juventus refused to let him go.
Nevertheless, the Spaniard does not get much playing time among the UEFA Champions League winners, so sooner or later he may leave the team.
"Various Premier League coaches called me to convince me to play in their teams. I said yes, I would like to, but if I left, I would almost certainly choose London, but I don't know what Madrid (Real - ed. note) would do," Morata told The Guardian.
"I knew they would bring me back, but I didn't know if they would keep me or sell me. Madrid said they didn't want to sell, so I'm here. I'm very happy in Madrid and they support me, but if such an offer comes again, and they want to sell me, I shouldn't close the door. I liked Italy, but if one day I have to leave, I'm sure I will move to the Premier League."
"I spoke directly with Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte, although it is common for clubs to call my father or agent. I remember a conversation with my father when he said that Conte with Chelsea intends to win the Premier League."
"Conte is a coach who believed in me the most, even though he has never had me in his team. This is very important to me: he took a risk for me at Juventus, but left before I arrived, and then he wanted to see me at Chelsea. I am sure he knows me better than I can imagine, and that is important: it motivates me to work hard and train."
"I feel indebted to him, because he is the coach who trusted me the most, who wanted me the most, who made me believe that I could play at the highest level. However, I have never had the opportunity to truly work with him. I am sure that sooner or later it will happen."
Morata also added that he is no longer very young - he is currently 24 years old. So, he hopes to get enough playing time in the future.
