Madrid's "Atletico" club recently announced that team leader Antoine Griezmann will leave the team this summer. Although it is not official yet, it is almost certain that the 28-year-old Frenchman will move to "Barcelona".
A. Griezmann's teammate Alvaro Morata said that everyone must understand the Frenchman's decision, but these changes should not diminish Madrid's "Atletico" ambitions next season.
"This is a decision that we all must respect. We must thank Griezmann for what he has done for this team, and he has done a lot. We respect his decision.
We wanted Griezmann to stay, but his decision was different. We have to finish this season, but our ambitions after the summer will certainly not diminish.
In the dressing room, we are all motivated and that is extremely important," said A. Morata, borrowed from the "Chelsea" team.
