The football club "Panevėžys" has strengthened its ranks with the central defender Miloš Vranjanin. A contract valid until the end of the 2025 season has been signed with the 28-year-old Serbian.
Before 2021, M. Vranjanin represented teams from his homeland - Obrenovac "Radnički", Belgrade "Voždovac", the same city's "Teleoptik", and Gorni Milanovac "Metalac". Later, the defender began his legionnaire career in Latvia with the "Riga" club.
In 2022, the Serbian signed with the "Kišvarda" team, and after returning from Hungary to Serbia, he defended the honor of Surdulica "Radnik" in the top league of the country last season.
"I have heard many good things about the club; I like this challenge. "Panevėžys" is a champion!
I hope that during the remaining part of the season we will win matches so that we can be calm for the rest of the season and play without pressure. Moreover, we will show that the team does not deserve to be in such a position in the league table," M. Vranjanin shared his initial thoughts with fk-panevezys.lt.
During the international break, the team from the capital of Aukštaitija bid farewell to central defender Malcolm Cacutalua, who joined the team at the beginning of this season.
The German played 18 matches in the "TOPsport A league" and one match each in the "FPRO LFF Cup" and the Champions League qualifying matches.
The football club "Panevėžys" thanks M. Cacutalua for the time spent together and wishes him success in future challenges.
