A. Novikovas – one step away from a transfer to an unexpected club

The Lithuanian national team's forward Arvydas Novikovas is almost ready to choose his new career destination.

As reported by tv3.lt, the 33-year-old player, who is a free agent, is one step away from signing a contract with the Vilnius region team "TransInvest".

Last year, the veteran briefly wore the colors of another A league club - Vilnius "Žalgiris".

Currently, "TransInvest" is in second to last place in the country's championships and is fighting for survival in the league.
