London's "Crystal Palace" coach Alan Pardew says that in the near future he will connect his future with the "eagles".
The strategist, who took over the reins of the capital club in January 2015, then signed a three and a half year contract, but it will be extended before the current term ends.
The 54-year-old specialist insists that he will sign a new contract when the team secures a place in the next season's Premier League. Currently, "Crystal Palace" occupies the thirteenth position, but it is worth mentioning that the team has failed to win in nine consecutive matches.
"The discussions regarding the contract have reached such a level that the agreement is practically reached," Pardew said.
"I just want to know if we will still be a Premier League team and this has nothing to do with Steve Parish (one of the club's leaders)," he added.
"Once I secure the team's survival, then I will sit down and finish it. In principle, everything is agreed upon."
This Saturday, "Crystal Palace" will face "West Bromwich".
