55-year-old football specialist Alan Pardew has lost his job at Crystal Palace club.
The London club has officially confirmed today that the contract with the strategist is terminated. A. Pardew took over the reins of Crystal Palace in January 2015 and helped the team finish last season in 10th place.
In the summer, A. Pardew received the trust of the owners and was allowed to spend money in the transfer market - £27 million was spent on Christian Benteke, and another £13 million on Andros Townsend.
However, this season has not gone as planned for Crystal Palace - they have already suffered 10 defeats in the Premier League and currently occupy the 17th position.
One of A. Pardew's most significant achievements within Crystal Palace was reaching the FA Cup final. Last season, the London team lost to Manchester United in extra time.
