London's "Crystal Palace" coach Alan Pardew believes that his team can climb even higher in the league table after yesterday's victory against "Manchester City."
The victory for the "Eagles" was brought by goals from Glenn Murray and Jason Puncheon, while Yaya Toure's goal for the "citizens" was just a consolation.
Currently, "Crystal Palace" ranks in the eleventh position in the English championship, trailing "Stoke" and "West Ham" by three points.
"We must rely on our character. In this team, we have real professionals and it is starting to show," Pardew told Sky Sports.
"Yesterday's victory was brought by the ability to adapt and perseverance. It was a bit disappointing that we had few attacking opportunities, but the result is great for the club. Our fans were amazing."
"There are still matches against 'Sunderland,' 'West Brom,' and 'Hull City' left, where we can continue our successful streak, and then we will face the big clubs - 'Chelsea,' 'Manchester United,' and 'Liverpool.' We will just keep climbing the table little by little, if we can, and set even higher goals."
